When we were thinking about starting a home-based business, the idea that kept
coming back to us was, "Let's make candles." We both loved candles, but were disappointed in the quality of the candles we were buying. So, we began researching,
and discovered soy. We both were unfamiliar with soy, but liked the concept of a natural product made from domestically grown soy. After months of research, and a lot
of trial and error, Wax on Tap was born in August of 2002. SOY candles have since increased in popularity and there are now many SOY candle companies. However, not all SOY is the same. We take great pride in the quality of the SOY we use, the fragrances that really smell like their name and the beautiful colors of our candles. As much as possible we buy only AMERICAN MADE raw materials. Don't be fooled by pretty labels and fancy websites. In an effort to keep our quality and great fragrance we don't spend money on fancy labels or a professional web designer. We do promise to always use high quality raw materials, strong, pure fragrances and quality glassware to ensure a long lasting, fragrant, non toxic candle for you every time.

The candles are all hand poured in our home. They are triple scented with the fragrance stirred into the melted
wax. As a result, the scent lasts to the very bottom of the jar. We feel that we have
an excellent candle that will satisfy even the most discriminating buyer.
